It's the no-vocals version of the song. You ARE joining a karaoke competition, not a sing-a-long contest.

Thanks for bringing this up otherwise there willll be more confusion later on. So to avoid confusing anyone I'll have some explaining to do. *cough*

1. Although this is called a Karaoke Competition its actually more of a Singing Competition instead.
2. Which means there will NOT be any screen with lyrics and stuff projected or otherwise.
3. There will NOT be a list of songs to choose from. You bring your own.
4. Think of it as a much simple version of American Idol only that you do NOT get a recording contract from DaiCon although how I wish I could produce one.
5. A 'minus-1' is a non-vocal soundtrack of the song you wanna sing a.k.a 'karaoke version'.

You mean the time it starts? The time schedule is still being finalised. Its too early anyways. However, the solo competition starts on day 1 while the group on day 2. Yes, we're following this unofficial tradition. XD

You guys....really...you guys should calm down. I'm proud to say that DaiCon is NOT clashing with Bon Odori. We have confirmed this with the Japanese Embassy. Its on the the weekend after DaiCon (18th). Yes, you've all heard correctly its not clashing. Rejoice!!!

Hello there!

There's only one hotel in Cyberjaya which is the Cyberview Lodge Resort and Spa. There are another 3 hotels in Putrajaya (Putrajaya is next to Cyberjaya)

1.Marriott Putrajaya
2.Putrajaya Shangri-La
3.Palm Garden Resort IOI


It's recommended that you and your friends share a room or two in Traders Hotel (It's our official hotel ^^). We (the Daicon committees) can charter a bus directly from the hotel to MMU Cyberjaya.
